Annual Report and Accounts 2011-12
This report includes details of items such as structural reform priorities, implementation of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) recommendations, sustainability reporting, statement of internal controls and a summary of the main changes and challenges in the year. It also includes the financial statements, which relate to the costs of the core Department for Education.
The executive non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs) have their own accounting officers, who are responsible to Parliament for the funds they receive and publish their own accounts separately.

Departmental resource accounts
The Department's resource accounts, which contain details of its aims and objectives for each year, are available to download from the associated resources section.
Departmental reports
The annual departmental reports, which set out the Government's expenditure plans for the Department based on the resources allocated, are available to download from the associated resources section.
