Before exploring the broad range of materials available, we recommend that you read the ‘guidance for trainers’ available in the associated resources section. This document will help introduce the scope of the materials, the exercises and presentations available, as well as how to get the most from them.
The materials consist of a number of elements that can be used flexibly to produce a range of training courses for multi-agency participant groups. The training framework, also available in the associated resources section, should be used to plan and develop training courses. It can also act as a stand-alone tool to help with understanding the complexity of child neglect.
All the presentations come complete with a comprehensive set of notes as do the exercises, which also come with detailed facilitator’s guidance. The notes and facilitator’s guidance detail how to get the most from the resource and advise on how to incorporate the varied supporting materials that are included.
The menu on the left-hand side gives access to the supporting materials.
