The Common Basic Data Set (CBDS) database provides a standard for data used in software systems for management information in schools, local authorities, other children's institutions, the Department and other Government bodies. All changes to the CBDS will be made within the one database file, using a new change control process. Completed Requests for Change (RFCs) are published on this website.
