2012 Key Stage 4 qualification and subject level results

Additional information, underlying the 2012 Secondary School performance tables is available at the link below. It provides information on the achievements of pupils who are at the end of their Key Stage 4 studies.

The data file shows information at school level on the entries and achievements in specific subjects by grade, for the following qualifications – GCSEs (full courses, short courses, double awards, vocational GCSEs, legacy iGCSEs and successor qualifications), AS levels (taken by the end of Key Stage 4), BTECs, OCR National Awards and Certificates, Basic Skills, Functional Skills, Key Skills, Entry Level qualifications, Asset Languages, Free Standing Maths, Principal Learning (Diploma), and vocational and other general qualifications at level 1 and level 2.

It provides information on the achievements of students aged 16 - 18, who are at the end of their studies in general and applied A and AS level examinations and other equivalent level 3 qualifications.

The data file shows information at institution level on the entries and achievements in specific subjects by grades (where applicable) for a range of academic and vocational level 3 qualifications, including GCE/Applied GCE A/AS-levels, the International Baccalaureate, Pre-U, BTEC National and vocational related qualifications.

Level 3 Value Added

Additional information showing the Level 3 Value Added scores for each main qualification type taken at schools and colleges is available at the link below . Positive or negative scores indicate whether students taking a particular qualification at a school or college have made more or less progress than the average of other students taking the same qualification nationally. 2012 16-19 Interim minimum standards

Additional information showing the performance of colleges and school sixth forms against the 16-19 interim minimum standards is available at the link below. The data file provides information at institution level on the percentages of students who achieved academic points per entry of 172 points or more and the percentages of students who achieved vocational points per entry of 194 points or more.
