To calculate overall subject levels for Key Stage 3, teachers must aggregate the assessment levels they have awarded for each attainment target according to a weighting system.
Teachers should arrive at a teacher assessment level using the range of codes provided on the following pages. The overall subject level should then be entered into the school management information system, unless a local authority is undertaking data entry.
