The Diploma aggregation service (DAS) is an online system that supports diploma administration.
DAS enables a school, college or awarding organisation to share data and monitor students' progress towards achieving their Diplomas. The system aggregates the results of constituent qualifications to produce final Diploma grades.
For further information on the service, how it works and who it's for, see the DAS fact sheet available on this page.
Important notice
The Diploma aggregation service (DAS) will close on 30 September 2013.
Following a consultation in 2010, the qualification regulator Ofqual announced their intention to simplify the regulatory requirements for the Diploma, to place it on the same footing as other qualifications.
Following these changes, the diploma can still be offered as a qualification, but the government will no longer be involved in the awarding process, leading to the closure of DAS in 2013.
The DAS closure Q and A document provides exams officers with more information.
Service status
DAS is operating normally today.
