The UK council for Child Internet Safety is a voluntary organisation that brings together over 200 organisations and individuals including those from:
- Academia: Bath University, Nottingham Trent University, London School of Economics (LSE)
- Broadcasters: Channel 4, BskyB, Nickelodeon
- Charities and the third sector: Childnet, Beatbullying, Papyrus
- Government: The Home Office, Department for Education, Department for Culture Media and Sport, Scottish Government, Welsh Assembly Government, Northern Ireland
- Hardware manufacturers: Cisco, Apple, Samsung, Research in Motion (RIM)
- Industry bodies representing multiple organisations: The Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA), Mobile Broadband Group, UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE)
- Internet service providers (both fixed-line and mobile): TalkTalk, Vodafone, Virgin Media, BT
- Law enforcement and regulatory bodies: The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), Ofcom
- Parenting groups: Mumsnet, Parentfocus, Parentzone
- Search providers: Yahoo!, Google
- Social Networks: Facebook, Bebo
- Software and videogames manufactures: EA, Jagex, Activision, Microsoft
